Meet The Person Behind Garden Glass Works!

Garden Glass Works is a small glass art studio based in Sussex with one simple goal - to make beautiful and eye-catching glass art to the best possible standard.

Gloria Minshull’s background is in Environmental Sciences, but, looking for an outlet for her creative side, Gloria came across glass art and began with making small, but innovative, glass art jewellery. From these small beginnings Gloria is slowly extending her repertoire into larger glass art and sculptural pieces. With the inception of the Garden Glass Works Gloria is bringing her artistic flare to the design and making of individual and striking glass art bowls, vases, votives, platters, plates, coasters, sculptures, wall hangings and panels. The design of unique and eye catching glass art pieces is fundamental to Gloria’s aim of producing visually attractive glass art and she finds inspiration in many aspects of her life and the area where her studio is located - the seaside, the sea, the Downs, and local harbour. Gloria has a passion for fashion and style and see’s inspiration in Art Nouveau, Art Deco, the Swinging 60’s right through to current times.
